the father of Para-Tan healing shares the knowledge of Tantric Sound Healing with the blessing of the Divine Mother

Sri Param Eswaran and I met in the beginning of 2003 after inviting him to the Netherlands for a few workshops on Interfaith Tantra and Para-Tan sound-healing. We had a deep recognition with each other. As soon as we started working together we noticed that we danced very well in the healing energy. We both have a strong immediate connection with the Divine Mother and our focus is on bringing more love and joy in peoples lives. That is how our working relationship began and at the same time the teacher/student connection was established. I could learn something more in the art of healing from him and I decided to do the Tantra Teachers training in India.

Sri Param's vision on Tantra says: ''Tantra is freedom; freedom from all mind-constructs, freedom from all your structures, freedom from all mind-games, freedom from within, which gives freedom from the other. Tantra is a space to be. Tantra is liberation''

Sri Param's vision on Tantra is exactly what Osho, who left the body in 1990, talks about in his lectures and books. Only the form and the tools he uses to teach this to us are different. Osho, being one off the great mystics and philosophers of this century made me travel to India first in 1979. This land has always fascinated believers, non-believers, philosophers, writers and artists. All come to India because it offers such an intriguing mix of sight, sound and experience. In India you can experience a constant surrealistic happening, with many strange looking and acting people. But at least they are real. So India kept on pulling me back and back over the past 25 years. I met many more teachers/ gurus on Tantra after Osho, each one contributing in their own unique way to my knowledge and understanding of this vast science of life and thousands of year's old tradition.

Sri Param makes a huge difference to me among many teachers and all who have studied with him will say the same. He showed me the way towards the essence of the essence of Hindu Tantrism and revived a long forgotten heritage for me. His teachings contain a devotional approach emphasizing the worship of the Goddess and her Lord Shiva. He is using the powerful tools of Tantra like Mantra, Yantra, Puja and Agni (fire). He teaches you to communicate with the Divine Mother and her Ten Wisdom Forms (Dasha Mahavidya) and their different functions.

He presents the living spirit and practice of Tantra, rather than just another academic view or the, mainly in the West known, focus on sexual practice. He uses a very powerful energetic tool for healing re-discovered by him through the grace of the Divine Mother, Para - Tan sound-healing.

In India a Tantric master usually means a person who is master of Mantra or an energetic type of Yoga practice. Sri Param is master of both. He is bringing Shakti Yoga to the west and therefore The Divine Mother can give us her Yoga- Shakti.

Sri Param is directly and personally in contact with all his students guiding them and helping them to heal themselves on their path of growth. He says that we can all be free and become teachers for others if we can go beyond our own limitations. Sri Param takes you beyond all your limitations, sometimes in a very directly, confronting and sometimes in a very humorous and joyful way. He is rebellious and strict, yet very soft and loving at the same time and takes away all your blindfolds.

"The blindfold is your mind. Your thinking, your prejudices, your knowledge, they all make the thick layer of a blindfold. They are keeping you dull, keeping you un-alive. Tantra wants you to be alive- as alive as nature is, as alive as the rivers, as alive as the sun and the moon. That is your birthright."

After meeting him and being trained by him my eyes were opened as never before and I am seeing a total different world behind now. With his real guidance and his strong sense of responsibility he showed me all the abilities that can awaken in me and others.

Para-Tan sound healing:
Para-Tan sound healing is a millennia old healing method. When used on me it calmed down my whole nervous system immediately during the first session.

My nervous system, after a severe period of illness and emotional burn-out, was much overstressed and causing me all kinds of pains and pangs, emotional burst outs and anger. To me it had become so normal to act on that, that I did not notice that my whole energy had changed and I actually was in a constant stress in the body.

After receiving the healings in the circle day by day in the Teachers training in India, I started feeling stability in the body of which I only had a vague remembrance. It gave me back my emotional and mental stability by releasing old deep blocks in the different tissues of the body. I can say now. I am back into balance and harmony. I released a lot of old pain and anger which I never knew on a conscious level that I was holding and carrying that energy. By putting energy into the body in the form of a sound and its vibration that follows out of making the sound, the energy that is held back starts to move and finally released. I felt it moving from one place to another in the body. In that moving space is created for the cell to remember its original harmony memory. Restoration starts taking place and you can change the whole physiology of the cell, thus releasing old sick emotional memories to  pure ones by giving the cells the  right energy to heal itself.

My whole nervous system was wrecked they told me. Nothing to do the doctors said. Just accept it. My only alternative was to take medication. I decided not to go there with myself but asked the Universe for help and see it was given to me.

In her book "Molecules of emotion" Dr Candace Pert writes in detail on this topic. From the moment we are created in the womb our cells start a memory of their own. Every experience we have from that moment we enter a physical form till we die is primary gathered in the body not in the brain. The memory bank in the brain which holds the pictures of events is not yet fully grown after birth and therefore it does not use its full capacity yet. The body has an intelligence of its own she scientifically explains.

The Tantric science of sound
Para-Tan sound healing is a unique healing method which has acquired an authenticity of its own. It is marked out to play a singular role in the resuscitation of the spiritual and sacred occult tradition of India in teaching students the knowledge of the use of the powers of the Divine Universal Mother, through the knowledge of the Sri Chakra Yantra, for self- healing first, and then for those who deeply want to study with Sri Param and stick around long enough to become a healer and Teacher.

Sri Vidya, (supreme knowledge). Para means the highest and tan, is derived from the word Tantra, which exactly translated means book, space, freedom, expansion, weaving.

In Tantra Shastra great sciences are mentioned. The powers and personalities of the Mother of the Universe. They are called the Ten Great Cosmic powers or the ten Great Mahavidyas. As in many spiritual traditions, the feminine aspect of Divine reality represents the knowledge or wisdom. In Sanskrit that knowledge is called, Vidya. Tantric adepts speak of the permanent place of the light, Prakasa. From this mass of infinite supernal light which has no form, emerge during the course of manifestation the rays which fashion the objects of the world as well as the gods and goddesses in the cosmos, the Devas, powers of light. In manifestation the limitless One has to limit himself in a form. These lines of light build the form patterns of the gods and goddesses, which are known as the Yantras or Chakras.

Tantriks hold that by worshipping the Chakra of a deity, one senses immediately its form pattern and so has concrete realization of the deity. So this Sri Yantra or Sri Chakra is an instrument, a store house of cosmic power. The Chakra is not a means to worship the deity, but should be conceived as the deity itself embodied in form. When the formless takes a form, there is a throb, a stir in the universe which immediately starts also a series of vibrations. These vibrations take the form of sound, Nada, which is the precursor of the creation of objects. The lines of rhythm that emerge out, proceed to form the luminous patterns which are known as the Chakra's, or Yantra's previously mentioned, while the Nada, sound, that is received is transmitted in the human tongue as Mantras. The Mantra of a deity and its Yantra have a very close correspondence as the purpose of both the mantra and the Yantra is to manifest the deity through sound and form. Thus the Mantra is also not a means to contact the deity but the deity itself.

It is the sound-body of the deity having a remarkable correlation with the vibrations in the Human body. In articulate speech it is common knowledge that alphabets build the language. They create the words; they are little mothers, who give birth to all that is written and spoken. The great Divine Mother, infinite, immutable, gives birth to all the great cosmic powers. The Divine Mother acts as a repository of all the mantra's of Gods and Goddesses. They come in seed, beeja, sounds. These seed sounds have enormous transformative healing powers. The sound creates a vibration in the energy system in the body. The energy system in the body has a few main centers where the Deities are located and the energy is transmitted.

These Chakra's work very closely with the nervous system which translates all the information from the brain into the nine substances in the body. The larger universe the macro-cosmos is faithfully reproduced in man, the micro-cosmos. The nine substances in the human body are. Skin (trak), blood (asrk), flesh ( mamsa), fat ( medher), bone ( asthi), which are given by Shakti; and the other four are from Shiva being semen (sukla), marrow (majja) vital breath ( prana) and the individual soul ( jivatman). Tantra affirms the importance of the body as a temple for the Divine and grants it a sacred reality. It views our psycho-physical organism as a microcosm in which the individual soul can understand the workings of the entire universe. For this reason Tantra has been regarded as a body-affirmative form of spiritual tradition. However Tantra does not affirm ordinary bodily identity, but sees the body as a mystic symbol.

A tantrika uses Mantra to worship the Divine Mother or Father, and our Master with the Guidance of the Divine Mother uses the very mantras to heal. It is his most powerful gift to humanity.

Every time we do a Para-Tan sound-healing, we therefore worship the person that we are sounding into as God or Goddess. We use our Shakti energy to heal people and by doing so we can do miracles. Like  me and many others who have experienced Para-Tan.
